The Rap Manager Ian Jackson Releases Bay Area Hip Hop Magazine "All Bay Music Magazine"

All Bay Group (www.allbaygroup.com) has done yet another move towards creating further media outlets to promote and endorse West Coast Hip Hop Music. Ian Jackson, is a long time Hip Hop Veteren Working with Acts Ranging from Digital Underground, Numskull from The Luniz, Keak Da Sneak, J Stalin, Ike Dola, Lee Majors, Rahmean, and many other Hi Profile Bay Area Based Rappers has released a Bay Area Hip Hop Only Magazine.

The Rap Manager : So Ian, what got you to do this magazine?

IJ: Well I started the magazine to really just endorse the Bay Area, you feel me, theres a lot of talent out here, and plus I've had the resources to pull it off, I got one of the Best, if not the Best Graphic Designer in the Bay, in my opinion, plus I know everyone out here, so its easy to get exclusives from people, and plus how many magazines out there have just Bay Area music??? I mean we have die hard fans of Bay Area music from all over the world. So I did it for the Bay Area, for the Keaks, Jackas, the E40s, the Too Shorts, I made it for them, the guys who have paved the way for us to have a rap scene. I appreciate what they have put in, and I realize we need people to be at there level to rise as a coast. So I mainly did it to cause a Coastal Movement.

The Rap Manager : You mention that its a Bay Area only magazine, yet you have Billy Blue on the other side of the Cover, explain that to us??

IJ: Well thats actually a great question. The reason I have an out of state artist is easy. There's politics to getting on my covers, no doubt, Billy Blue really works with the people of the Bay Area, Brisco and Billy Blue and Poe Boy all have put in work with Bay Artists. They back our scene, support it, our independence, they love us, so if people out of state show us, meaning our artists, promoters, and what not LOVE, then they will get the same love in this magazine, this magazine is for the advancement of Bay Area music, and to support those out of state who actually come in here and do things with our local artists, them working with us helps out whole coast out, especially the Bay Area. Shout outs to Freeway, David Banner, Paul Wall, Dorough, these guys are shining examples of why they can get covers in my magazine, they come to the Bay Area and show love, and there sound scans tell you how much we love them. So I try to find someone every quarter that does moves within the Bay Area, and if they are, then there in.

The Rap Manager : Nice, I like that idea, cause it makes the Bay Area understand who out of all the commercial artists that are current actually show love and respect to the Bay Area as a music capital. Where can people find this magazine?

IJ: Well right now my distribution is being worked out. I have aligned myself with about 10 Bay Area stores, and I have a tour starting tonite in Miami, Im going to ATL, New Orleans, Pheonix, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Portland, Seattle, Bakersfield, Los Angeles, San Diego, Oakland, SF, Fresno, Sacramento, Davis, Modesto, Salinas, Chico, Bellevue, Bend, Kansas City, and more, I am going to over 20 West Coast Citys, you can go to www.allbaymusic.com or www.allbaygroup.com to find out more about stores, pictures of promotions, and more.

The Rap Manager : So tell us more, who's in the magazine, how often you dropping the magazine?

IJ: Well this issue 1 I got Back Cover Billy Blue, Front Cover Lee Majors & The Jacka as the Go Bots. I also have exclusive interviews by Keak Da Sneak, AP9, Dame Fame, Barritz, Stevie Joe. I also got exclusive information on the West Coast Hip Hop Awards, we covered that event, there was a lot of support in the building. We also got exclusive event photos, celeb tweet section, music reviews, rap manager scout report, DJ Top 10 Lists, all kinds of hot content. I drop the magazine every 3 months, cause every 3 months theres something new kicking in the Bay Area, and music tends to run quarterly, so I figured I could cover the Bay Area every 3 months, and go from there.

The Rap Manager : Is there any artists who you wanna get in the magazine?

IJ: I mean really if your from the Bay Area and you have talent, this is the magazine you should be in. I have too many sections in the Magazine for up and coming talent, I got the scout report, southbay connection, Exclusive Music News, all of which are ways to break your name without having to give the full interview.

The Rap Manager : So no artists in particular?

IJ: I mean really everyone, E40 I cant wait, Too Short I cant Wait, honestly tho If I were to be really excited Id say MC Hammer, he always been my favorite, he's Town Business.

The Rap Manager : Any last words, thank you's?

Id like to thank all the industry people that helped me get here. First and Foremost Yarrow Kubrin, Numskull, Dame Fame, JD of JDM Designs, Joe The Boss (RIP), J Stalin, Ike Dola, Maebach the Boss Lady, My Grandparents, all of you have been a huge inspiration, all of you believed in me, and have never done anything major to let me down, so thanks. Also like to send out a special thanks to Network from Go Der Magazine and DJ Rick Lee, you both showed me how powerful my work ethic could take me, I appreciate you both believing in me, and giving me the opportunity to shine and to do my own thing, its partially because of you both that the Bay Area has its own magazine. So yeah other than that my family, and everyone please go to www.allbaymusic.com, or if your an artist trying to get to that next level, check me out on www.allbaygroup.com. Thanks!!
